FAQs

ICE SKATING

  • Sessions are 45 minutes long and start on the hour. We advise arriving at least 20 minutes in advance to ensure you have enough time to prepare for your session. The session ends at the same time for everyone so don't be late otherwise, you'll have less time to enjoy being on the ice!

  • We recommend that all sessions are pre-booked online to avoid disappointment and avoid queues on site during busy periods. Tickets may be booked on the day, subject to availability.

Tickets are subject to a non-refundable £1.50 per ticket booking fee.

  • The minimum age for ice skating is 3 years old to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

  • Yes, we provide a number of fibreglass weighted penguins on the ice that operate on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a limited number available, so it is best to arrive at the venue before your session to ensure the availability of a penguin aid. Skate aids are available for under 10s only. There are a limited number of skate aids at each rink and skaters must be under 110cm to use them.

  • Skaters are welcome to bring their own skates, noting this will not alter the price of your ticket. Speed Skates are not permitted on the ice, and organisers reserve the right not to allow a person to use their own skates if they decide that they are not suitable. We do not sharpen personal ice skates.

  • Tickets are non-refundable, so please ensure you choose the correct ticket at the time of booking. Tickets can be gifted to another person, and you may reschedule your booking if requested at least 7 days in advance.

  • Yes, we offer helmets for rent to all skaters to enhance safety on the ice.

  • Yes, we welcome group bookings and offer special rates for parties and events. Please contact us to arrange your group session.

  • While On Ice prioritises your comfort and safety, please note that ice skating carries an inherent risk of falls. Participation in skating is entirely at your own risk, and we are not liable for any injuries sustained while using the rink. Additionally, there is no insurance coverage for injuries that occur during ice skating.

KARAOKE

  • We recommend that all sessions are pre-booked online to avoid disappointment and avoid queues on site during busy periods. Tickets may be booked on the day, subject to availability.

Tickets are subject to a non-refundable £1.50 per ticket booking fee.

  • We sell Beers, Wines, Prosecco, Cocktails, Mulled Wine, Spirits, Hot chocolate and Soft drinks. Full list of drinks and prices are available on our menu.

  • We’ll be offering a variety of festive treats, from bratwursts and winter gyros to festive-inspired grilled cheese sandwiches.

  • Unfortunately not, you can only consume drinks that are purchased within the venue.

  • Yes of course! As long as your group size doesn't exceed the max space (we recommend a max of 8 people is comfortable, but you can manage a very tight squeeze of 10 at a push). You don’t need to let us know about any group size changes, as the chalets are all the same size.

  • You can do this via your confirmation email, but it will depend on availability.

  • The cost to book is not a returnable deposit or redeemable against drinks. It is a hire charge for use of the chalet.

  • We operate a 45 minute no show policy whereby we will make your chalet available to other customers if you don't arrive within 45 minutes of your booked time.

  • As stated at the time of booking, karaoke bookings are non-refundable. However, if you cannot make your booking you can move it to any other available slot this year. Please refer to your confirmation email where you will be able to amend the booking and check availability.

  • Little ones are welcome across the venue. For their safety we insist that they remain with their parent/guardians at all times and do not run around the venue.
